We headed out to Davis the weekend before last to visit with Sam and Mike. We were so happy that we were able to bring miss Angie with us.. she had a blast exploring their house and the little downtown area and, of course, terrorizing their cat, Tavern.
She's kind of a backseat driver
She's always telling me... "Mom! Watch out for that car!!!"
Had a little din din at Burgers and Brew - super yummy, as always.
then we headed to The Beer Shop where Mike works and then to a little place to hear Miss Lonely Hearts rock out. They were really, really good. And doesn't the singer look a lot like Bruce Springsteen?
When Anthony went to pee we goofed around with his camera.
I really don't remember who that guy is ^^^

And then we went back home and enjoyed a little Eddie Vedder and Yahtzee, which Sam thinks she is the best as, but, apparently.. I rule!

Mike is in love with Angie (duh, who isn't?) But she told me that being around him with his gnarly black eye was really damaging her reputation. I mean, what if people thought she did that to him? hahaha
Basically, we love their house and wish we could live there and duh, that we could live in Davis. You never need a car because everything is downtown! But seriously, their house is really cool and Sam even has an awesome garment rack for her clothes. I was kinda jealous.
UC Davis is boring on the weekends. But I did enjoy their funky, giant head sculptures!
Sam and Mike are pretty adorbs.

Those are some crazy statues...but they make for cool photos! And Angie is just stinkin' adorable as a backseat driver.
