Little Augie is 5 months old! He's still a challenge, especially or hard days. Then, on other days he's nothing but a bright, sunny spot wherever we go.
Most everywhere we go people comment on his big smile and bright blue eyes. His two modes are "extreme happy" and "ultimate anger".
He doesn't really enjoy being fed a bottle anymore. We mostly prop the bottle for him, so that he will actually drink it. Bedtime is 6:30 or 7pm, and he's up for the day between 6:30 and 8 am. Started solids just after 4 months. His favorite foods are bananas, sweet potatoes, peanut butter (mixed with rice cereal -- yes, they have you do that now!), apples and mangoes.
He's almost at the point of sitting up on his own. He can do it for awhile, but then he just tips over to the side. Loves to jump in the doorway jumper and remain standing in your arms as long as possible. Loves to "bump" (as I call it), which is to rock back and forth from his feet to his bottom while on your lap on the couch.
REALLY loves listening to mom read books to him. Gets very physically excited when tone of voice goes up and down with the story. Too funny and cute!!

Not a major fan of tummy time, unless his big brother is doing something entertaining close by. Will flip from front to back and from back to side, but not from back to front yet. Recently discovered his toes and loves to hold onto them.
He's doing much more talking all of a sudden and we've finally gotten some good belly laughs out of this boy. They're rare and you have to work hard to get them. Screams on the other hand.. those come easy. Ha!
Had his first ride on a skateboard with dad on New Years Day 2019.
Looking forward to another fun month with this little one, Thomas August.
