Christmas Cookies!!

This year we decided to spare ourselves the agony of trying to find money to buy everyone gifts and instead went with the traditional baking of cookies. We had so much fun making these for everybody that I think I might add something like this into my gift giving each year.

We baked the cookies using one of my mom's recipes and one of Anthony's mom's recipes (to be fair - haha). The recipes can be found on my food blog "Food Furnishing"

Then we went by "Dollar Tree" and found these cute little bags and the green ribbon.

We put five cookies in each bag (since there are nine in all) and put one of my handmade cards (which can be found on one of my other blogs "Work Play Create") with each one.

Now we are ready to give them to everybody when we get back to Fremont in 2 days!

Yay! I am so excited!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Tree Tour

"The perfect Christmas tree?
All Christmas trees are perfect!"

-Charles N. Barnard

Alright so I am a bit late on this whole "Christmas Tree Tour"

thing that WE ARE THAT FAMILY is doing but we
just got a chance to get our tree up and our house decorated
two days ago so...

O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree!
We didn't have a star for the top of the tree so I tied
a few of these red ribbons my aunt gave us at the top!
I think they look pretty cute!
Anthony wished we had gone to bed before I
started "blogging in my mind"

One of my favorite ornaments

Anthony's Nolan Ryan ornament

Oh Harry! How could I go without you at Christmas? :)

We added a little Halloween Flair as well!

Anthony's popsicle stick reindeer from elementary school

I tied the bows all over the house... on the front door

.. on the skateboard decor, haha

.. on the bedroom door

.. on the fridge handle

.. No Christmas will ever be complete without a little "Christmas Story"

... this is the nativity scene my Gramsy gave me a few years back.

and the rest of our decor is on top of our new room separator...
more on that soon.

It isn't much, but it is our first shot at decorating since neither of
us has ever done our own house before. I would love to do
TONS of things, but I don't want to spend any money.
I'll be waiting after the 25th for the after-Christmas sales!!!
(then I won't feel so wasteful)

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope to be blogging again
tomorrow and the next day and the next day and... but our internet is down
so it all depends on how available these cafes are.
Cross your fingers!

Anniversary

And I forgot to mention that the 4th was our 7 year anniversary!
Aren't we just so amazing?
Just kidding.
But really, we are.
Only joking, or am I?

Here are a couple photos from junior high

Our second week in Santa Cruz sort of got crammed into the last post without
much explanation so this info is a bit old, but untold, so important none the less.

I made another video to save myself the hassle of blogging and youtubing.

Most importantly the house is clean!!!!
That is the best feeling - to be going home in a few days to a house that is clean.
This is where my weird anal side comes out.

Aside from that, I managed to find a pre-lit Christmas tree for
$30 still in the box at a lady's house,
a $10 kitchen table that is definitely a work-in-progress
(good thing Anthony is so creative),
a free beach chair,
and a Christmas gift for Anthony (shhh!)

Can you say, awesome?

A Quick Video

I made this video for my friend Sarah who is studying
abroad in MEXICO. I thought it might be fun to
post it on here also. My Youtube account name
is Mrazda4 if you want to see all my videos.

Moved In!

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap
but by the seeds that you plant."
-Robert Louis Stevenson

Three days ago Anthony and I set out to make the trip down
to Santa Cruz with our remaining piles of belongings. Our good
friends Andie and Greg helped us out by borrowing her dad's truck
and loading it with our excess furniture.

I'm mostly putting this post as a
pre-actually-having-it-the-way-we-want-it preview of the
house. It's not even close to being completely
"put together"but it is the beginnings of such.

Pictures of the front, the bathroom, the yard, and the shed are
missing but at least it's something for your guys to go off of.

It was a lot of fun unpacking everything and feeling a sense
of pride in actually doing this. There is so much to say and post but we
are looking at a good two weeks of craziness with ballets, finals,
classes, decorating of Christmas trees with our families, and baby
showers all taking place in Fremont.

So... sorry for the long break after this - I'll try
and post once or twice
if there is anything worthy of posting.

It's a DISCO CHRISTMAS!

Today Anthony and I decided to make a little Christmasy video.
The website has much improved since last year. You can find
"Elf Yourself" at
this link. Another fun website, in connection
with this one, is
www.jibjab.com. They are the creators of
"Elf Yourself" I believe.

Anyhoo, here is the video starring:
Kelsey Weems
Anthony Camello

Axel Rose Camello

and Rosie Rose Camello

Next Time You See Safeway...

Give it a big hug for me. Go ahead...
hug the side of the building, don't
worry, no one is watching - or at
least no one will tell you they're watching
.

This wonderful company right here decided
to hire our dear Anthony today!!

Can you say WHOOHOO!!
I sure can, "WHOOHOO!!!"

Who could resist that mug? :)

p.s. He has to wear a tie too! Seriously,
can you see the smile on my face from there?

A New Home

"When you're safe at home you wish
you were having an adventure; when
you're having an adventure you wish
you were safe at home"
-- Thornton Wilder

Mr. Anthony Camello and I are moving to
a new home
in a new town
with new jobs... coming soon... ;)

Could we be more excited?

I think we'll be planning on using this as a
means for keeping in touch with family.
Yippee!!!
