p.s. This year's new year's resolution is for me to read 30 books in 2010. It may be difficult with another full semester of school, full time work, full time wedding planning and the possibility of transferring to UCSC right before we tie that darn knot. Can I do it?! Of course I can! We all know I read to much for my own good. Any good book suggestions?

I almost forgot...

Christmas Eve at Nana's
(I wasn't there but Anthony was so
I figured I should post some of these too!)

Christmas 2009

This year Christmas was a little bit different
Papa has been in the hospital at Stanford for a few weeks now and there really isn't any sign of him leaving anytime soon. So this year I spent a lot of time at the hospital and we didn't go up to Oakdale for our usual Christmas night extravaganza. Mom and I also didn't get around to stopping by the Corcorans' on Christmas Eve so there aren't any photos from that either.

On Christmas Eve a bunch of us went to Claim Jumper for dinner. Andie was a server which was awesome!

Ant and Mom
Me, Britt and Meggie

It was sooooo good!!!! But I think that having such a huge dinner right before church was probably the worst idea ever. That much food made me so sleepy!

Christmas morning we all woke up a bit later than usual. Here's dad in his Raider Christmas hat.
me and mom
Joey addressed all his gifts to "Whoever Dog" from "Joe Dog". He is a weirdo.
All the boys got handles from Dad.
Eddie got Beats by Dre headphones

Tommy
Mom and Joe
Always taking pictures
Joey got a new Raider jersey
Dad got me this cute little Rudolph that talks
and in the garage I found a rolling cart for the kitchen!!!! (Pictures to come later)
Mom

On Christmas we went by the hospital to see Popsy!

He was doing pretty good at that point. Going into surgery the next day.

Then Ant came over and opened his gifts from mom.
He got the new Tony Hawk Wii game!

and Super Mario for Wii
Mom made Prime Rib!

Then...
We went to the Camello's for 2nd dinner as usual and opened my gifts! I got Boggle, cute little Santa Mugs, and a new shirt! Renee and the girls made me this cute one that you see right here.
The next day Grandma came over so we could open gifts from her and Pops

These photos were taken right before Ant and I passed out mid-opening.
It was a pretty darn long weekendish type Christmas thing!
We had a great time though! It's always fun to see family and not have to rush out the door to drive back to Santa Cruz for work. There was no stress this trip and that is probably what made it such an amazing one.

Merry Christmas everybody and Happy New Year tomorrow!

It all Started with a Couple Ornaments...

So on Christmas Eve Anthony and I always open the one ornament that we each got for each other. So this year we waited on the 23rd until 12 AM so we could open them!

I will warn you that we were so tired during the taking of these photos that we look a bit sickly in them.

I got Anthony a little Mario man since he has a newly discovered love for Mario Bros.
Anthony got me this cute sardine can that you put a photo of your cat in. It came with one that looks just like Axel! How weird, right?
I got this backpack that holds water for when we hike
Ant got socks and underwear
Two magnets
I got a purse
new earings
and a scar and beanie set
He got a Grateful Dead Canvas
A new flanel
and a Sublime shirt
Yeah - we got a little carried away and opened all the gifts.
oops.

Christmas in the Park

Before Christmas we also went down to San Jose to go to Christmas in the Park with the Camello.

These pictures are all out of order but I am too lazy to reorganize them.
We had so much fun checking out all the sponsored trees and the old booths.
Mostly though, we spent a lot of time behind and in front of the many cameras we brought along.
It's becoming an epidemic in this family!

Anyhoo - here they are:

Me and Sarah
Jamie, Mary, Jacqueline, Sarah, Ant
The girls in the huge gingerbread house
The HUGE tree!

All the kids with Joe

Anthony always has to be silly

I had put Sarah's hair up before we left and she started acting like a little model whenever she was in a photo.

More gingerbread house photos

Me and Jacqueline in front of the massive Rat King and Nutcracker
Hello white people!

This was the second year we've gone with the Camello fam and the third year for Ant and I together. I think we'll keep going each year and make it a tradition.
But next time we'll go to get milkshakes and fries that is for sure.
