The other night Anthony and I were stuck in a major suckfest on 17. It was traffic central and neither of us really had the energy or patience to sit in it. So we took the advice of so many people we know and took the Old Santa Cruz Highway. It was so much fun. We got to see funky old cabins and stores dotted along the windy road. We even saw some deer - which aren't foreign in this area or anything - but it's always fun to see a deer along the side of the road.
And.. the kicker is that we found a street called "Call of the Wild Road". Pretty awesome, right?
Plus - it took us the same amount of time that the freeway would have taken us without traffic.
I think we'll visit it again soon.
