We've made it to the end!

Even though this is only the beginning of the rest of our lives with little Lee, we can officially say that we've made it to the end of our first year as parents. Woo! (Also, I can now be done with thinking about how I'm "late, AGAIN!!" on these posts every single month)

Anyhow, Lee is now one year old and keeping us on our toes, always. We had a nice little dinner on his real birthday, but his big fat party is this upcoming Sunday. I promise that we've kept it so simple. Just, maybe... too many people invited?! hehehe

Little dude has 8 official teeth (four on top and four on the bottom), but I can see so many others just peeking out of his gums. It's so fun to watch his features change over time.

He's still a talking machine. So many words spew out of his mouth throughout the day. His current favorites are "uh oh", fake burping,  saying "ahhhh!" after each sip of water, dada, mama, papa and nana. He loves bananas, so nana means Nana and ba-NANA. What else does he say? He likes to make a poop noise when we say poop, and we're trying to teach him some animal sounds.

He will wave hi and bye, but really.. he's not a big fan. He's more interested in jumping up and down, and smiling SUPPPPERRR big.

We've been reading to him SOOO little this past month, because we've been so insanely busy that bedtime is just like, hey, go to bed now.

Still not a walker. He can stand, cruise, and do everything except walk. He'll walk with you holding one of his hands, but he's just too afraid to that that leap into toddler-hood. He must be a bit like me after all!

He's got such a wonderful disposition, smile and laugh. We couldn't have asked for a better fit in our family. I love him to death, and I thank God everyday for giving this amazing child to us!!

Happy BDAY Lou-lou. Next weekend WE PARRRTTYYY! #Letsrage #tenaciouslee
