Stats on Lee at 2 months old

I think that now is as good a time as any to start recording the little things about this baby boy of ours.

At about two months old he's rocking a sweet 'do of fuzzy blonde hair. Will it be curly? Will it be straight? We have yet to find out. We like to give him baby mohawks, and bath time is a pretty fun little affair. He enjoys it, which is cool, but he truthfully likes baths given by Angie better. She will just sit and lick his entire body if we let him. It's pretty cute.

His eyes are still in that "not quite sure yet" phase, but they are definitely turning more and more blue, and less grey. He's a great eater and an even better sleeper.

We try not to waste formula, in the name of thriftiness, and he helps us out with that on the daily. He's in bed by 9 and not up for the day until 8:30, so we get an almost 12 hour stint of non-baby time each evening. It's really, very cool. We feed him in between those times, but he goes right back into his crib no problem. He's been on that schedule since day 1, when we implemented it. The only time we have any minor trouble with this is when we're on trips and he's confused about where we are and why we're all in the same room. Hey, I'm confused too, buddy!

He's been in his room in his crib since about week 2.

We like having him around, so we take him on all our trips. We've been to quite a few places since he arrived in our little family, so he's a pretty well-traveled baby so far. Lucky dude!

He's been rolling over from front to back since he turned one month old. He started doing that when we were in Southern California. He's had a strong neck, strong enough to hold his head up for, literally, endless amounts of time, since he was born. He's completely mastered it at this point, and if I was a little more trusting I would just plop him in the bumbo right now, but I'm not. So that's that.

He enjoys music and the sound of our voices (good, cause he doesn't get a choice there). He is a super smiley boy, and he's been smiling since about one month old.

He's great in the car, which is evidenced by our long-ass road trips. Trust me, if he was difficult we would not be in the car so often.

He's been to Target exactly one time, and the park quite a few times. One thing we really like to do is go on walks. He loves visiting grandma and grandpa Weems and Camello. His favorite auntie is... JK/JK, he loves all of them! As far as uncles, I don't see any of you visiting so... you're all on his shit list. As far as cousins, he just loves them all, though he's partial to Desi since they're pretty much going to be best friends forever.

He loves his binky, and thank God for that, and he's starting to find out that his fingers taste pretty good too. Dad has been helping him to find his feet, but it's sort of a losing battle at this point. When he's on his tummy he really TRIES to crawl, but he hasn't quite figured out yet how to move those arms in the correct fashion.

Church has been good, because I really want him to learn the appropriate times to be silent. He's currently failing in the burp department. Two weeks ago he let out a belch that you would have swore came from an adult sized man. Too, too funny!

At two months he's doubled his birth weight, which is great, and I just can't believe how fast he is growing. What milestone will come next? I CAN wait (that's one thing I consistently say) to find out, but I'm also excited for when that next "big thing" happens!

He's just the coolest little kid I've ever met and I still can't believe he's ours. We got so lucky with this one, for sure. Now I just wonder, where will our next adventure take us?
